TAM South America Airpass

The TAM South America Airpass covers flights within the area comprised of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela on the flights of TAM and TAM Mercosur. It is based on the number of miles flown and offers reductions on normal fares or the other alternatives available for these countries.

There are 2 levels which will depend on availability.

Fares if travel to and from South America is with TAM or TAM Mercosur:

Fares if travel to and from South America is with any other carrier with whom TAM has an interline traffic agreement (such as Varig, Aerolineas Argentinas and Charter flights):

Main Conditions:

• At least 2 countries must be included.
• Available for holders of a return scheduled air ticket for flights from outside of South America into and out of points in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
• Valid for Minimum 5 days/Maximum 90 days.
• A maximum of 4 stopovers are allowed in Brazil and 2 within other countries.
• A maximum of 5 flight coupons are allowed per country and a maximum of 8 coupons are allowed in total (in addition to the point of origin and the point of destination).
• The same sector may not be flown more than once in the same direction, except for connections.
• The same city may not be used as an origin and/or destination more than once, except for connections.
• A security surcharge of US$12 applies to the fare.
• Applicable prepayable taxes must be included in the ticket.
• No child discounts. Infants pay 10% of above rates.
• Refunds permitted before departure at a charge of US$100.
• Rebooking permitted for a charge of US$100 (respecting the validity of the airpass). Rerouting not permitted.

Note: In addition to the airfares shown, we charge a booking fee of GBP30 per person (GBP20 per person  if you also book your longhaul flights with us.  Please note that some longhaul air fares may also incur a booking fee). Any refunds or ticket reissues are subject to an administration fee of GBP35 per ticket in addition to the airline charges specified.
