Antarctica
Antarctica, the fifth largest continent, is 99.8% covered with perpetual ice. During its brief summer (late November to March) cruise ships make the two day journey across Drake’s Passage from Ushuaia to reveal a pristine world of dramatic mountains, icebergs and astonishing marine-life including whales, elephant seals, albatrosses and numerous species of penguins.
